Maia supports partnerships between local tradespeople and BOCES to create internships that prepare young people for in-demand skilled jobs. By investing in workforce development now, we strengthen our local economy and give the next generation more options for their future.

SUPPORTING PUBLIC SAFETY & COMMUNITY WELL-BEING

Public safety includes making sure residents have access to the support they need. Maia will advocate for stronger partnerships with local organizations that serve victims of domestic violence and expand access to mental health resources. By prioritizing responsible spending, we can better protect and support vulnerable members of our community without increasing taxes.

Putnam Valley needs thoughtful, long-term economic planning that supports small businesses and revitalizes our town centers. Maia will push for smart investments, improved infrastructure, and programs that encourage business growth while preserving our community’s character. A key priority is building a stronger local economy. Maia believes we need a clear plan to support small businesses, improve our town centers, and ensure taxpayer dollars are invested in ways that create lasting value. With the right strategy, Putnam Valley can grow while preserving the character that makes it special.

Maia is also focused on preparing the next generation for a changing workforce. By supporting partnerships between local tradespeople and programs like BOCES, we can create meaningful opportunities for young people while strengthening our local economy.

Just as importantly, Maia believes we must better support the safety and well-being of our residents by expanding access to mental health resources and strengthening support for victims of domestic violence through responsible, thoughtful leadership.
